After 33 Years of play at Sierra Sage Golf Course, the McClelland Literacy Golf Tournament has a new Home. No more searching for your balls amongst the sage brush and scorching heat without shade, our new location for the tournament is at Washoe Golf Course. We are excited for this new partnership and appreciate Washoe for their willingness to support our organization as we continue to serve our community and get kids reading.
This year's tournament will remain a full field Shotgun Start at 8:00AM. Register your team today, sponsor a hole and sign up for lots of fun. This year we are offering the All In Package which will save you time at check in. The All In Package includes your round of golf, 4 Mulligans, 2 Tosses and $20 worth of raffle tickets. If you are buying a 4-Some, but don't want to do all in for your team, you can select "The Deal" package for yourself in addition to the 4-Some.
We are really looking forward to this year and can't wait to see you out on the golf course. Share this tournament with as many friends as you can. We expect play to be quick and are hoping to get a full field this year. The more the merrier. Let's make this a record year with 144 Golfers!
Come one come all. It is time to pick up your clubs and head to the golf course. This is the tournament designed for golfers who are playing for their first time or the scratch golfer. With prizes for a Blind Bogey Scoring System, the Net Low Score and the Adjusted Low Score, everyone who wants to swing the clubs has a chance to win!
Supporting the McClelland Literacy Foundation and their goal to get kids reading, this tournament's proceeds all go to Read for the Ride and Books for Kids. Two amazing programs that give books away to the youth in our community and a vehicle to a student at Sparks High School who earns raffle tickets through Reading.
